Obituary

Aaron was born to Percy and Doris Bradshaw in Mount Vernon and grew up in west Mount Vernon. He attended school in Mount Vernon and graduated with the class of 1971.

He married Cheri Henry in 1972 and together they welcomed their son Brandon in 1976. He spent many years taking Brandon to compete in motorcycle races along the west coast when Brandon was young. This was always a memorable time in both his and Brandon's lives.

In 1993 he married Julee Allquist and they spent the last 30 plus years together until his passing. Along with Julee came her son Ryan whom he had a great relationship with and were very close.

During Aaron's younger years he worked for many local farmers, Marine Construction, Maryott's Honda and in 1992 went to work for the City of Burlington's street department until his retirement in 2017.

Aaron was always an honest, hard-working man who could fix almost anything.

Aaron enjoyed road trips, and an occasional trip to Las Vegas or Laughlin, yard work, working out was a passion, his family, golf (in his younger years), alternative rock music, animals (namely dogs) and his daily coffee runs with Julee.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister and brother-in law-Dee and Gus Hoover, mother and father-in-law John and Norma Allquist, sister-in-law Kathy Allquist Good, and brother-in-law Scott Allquist.

He is survived by his wife Julee, his son Brandon, stepson and daughter-in-law Ryan and Danielle Schols, grandchildren Dahlia, Cooper and Stella Schols, a nephew and his wife John and Trish Jager, and one of his favorite families The Novotny's (Julee's relatives).

At his request, there will be no service.

Any memorial donations can be made to any animal rescue organization in his name.

We love and miss you Aaron (Pop-Pop). Life will never be the same without you.
