Alaska Antonio Nirvana Waite passed away peacefully and unexpectedly, at his home on January 18, 2023. He was a talented and intelligent young man with a quick wit, who loved his friends and family deeply. He was also very troubled by addiction and depression, and it sadly took his life far too soon.
Alaska was born in the car, en route to the Birth Center in Seattle WA, on May 19th, 1996. He spent his early years in various Seattle neighborhoods, two years in Silver City, NM, and the rest in or around Clear Lake & Anacortes, WA. He was blessed with a solid and meaningful lifelong friend group. As a young adult, Alaska quickly scaled the aerospace manufacturing ladder at Janicki Industries, and was very fond of his job. Alaska was beloved to most who knew him (nobody's perfect), and will be terribly missed.
He is survived by mother Piper McCullough, brother Cedar Noeldner, & father Gabriel Waite(wife Lisa Gardner Waite). He was preceded in death by his sister, Kayla Plakos.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at 1:00pm at Hawthorne Funeral Home, Mount Vernon, WA.  A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at 2:00pm at Hawthorne Memorial Park, Mount Vernon, WA with a reception to follow.
