Alma Pearl Fleshman passed peacefully in the early morning hours of Dec 21st, She was born April 19, 1919 in Marie, West Virginia, one of 10 siblings born to Charles and Grace Swepston. She is survived by a sister, Grace Ann Bennet.

One day after her high school graduation she married Andrew Fleshman and began her life as a Navy wife, living in several states during WWII. Andy preceded her in 1989.

She is survived by their two children: Frances (Chuck) Hildebrand of Bay City, OR and Kirk (Jane Fleshman of LaConner WA.

She is survived by 7 grandchildren Sonja (Bob) Asbury, Tinja (Randy) Wyman, Greta (Al) Oosterhof, Elsa (Dan) Hulslander, Becki (Jeff) Marks, Dayna (John) Federick, Drew (Alison) Fleshman. She is also survived by her special niece Kyra McCormill, nineteen great-grandchildren, and twenty great-great-grandchildren.

A private family inurnment was held at Hawthorne Memorial Park. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 16, 2016, 2:00 pm at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1515 E College Way.

Donation maybe made to the Cancer Care Alliance, Mount Vernon or Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Alma was a devoted Christian and attended Emmanuel Baptist Church for over 50+ years. She loved her friends, family and church and was deeply loved in return.
