Barbara Jean Rock passed away February 18, 2023, at her home in Mount Vernon at the age of 60.

Barbara was born February 28, 1962, in Mount Vernon to Thomas and Bonnie Rock.

She grew up in LaConner, attended LaConner Elementary School, graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 1980, and worked for Anacortes Yacht Charters for 25 years.

She married Chris Jewett in 1990, they had two beautiful daughters, Jessica and Katy.

Barbara's favorite thing to do was be around family, friends, and traveling in her RV with her two dogs. Let's not forget she had a real green thumb; she loved her flowers. Barbara was the most thoughtful, loving, and caring person. If anybody needed help, she would be the first to lend a helping hand.

She's survived by her brother Roger Rock; daughters Jessica (Joshua) Brown and their daughters Aliya and Kaylani, Katy Jewett and her son Hudson; niece Kelee Rock (Chris Kelly) and their daughter Jada; nephew Jason Rock and his son Ryder; many more loved ones and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Bonnie Rock, grandparents Gene and Almeda Olson, aunt and uncle Patricia and Roy Robinson.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Snee-Oosh Beach Clubhouse, 16846 Chilberg Ave, LaConner, WA 98257, on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at 2:00pm – 5:00pm, service at 3:00pm.

This world was a better place with Barbara in it. Her family and friends will miss her so very much.
