Barbara Jean Ward, 88, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2022, in Mount Vernon, WA. Barbara was born on March 13, 1934, to Everal and Ethel McKinnon in Minot, ND. She spent her first nine years in Ross, ND with her grandparents, Dave & Clara McKinnon. She lived in the Seattle area for 37 years and in Mount Vernon for nearly 40 years.

Barbara was preceded in death by her father, Everal McKinnon, mother Ethel and stepfather Charles James, sister Corrine McKinnon, and son Paul Ward. She is survived by children James, Corrine Sackman, Terri (Ken) Terhaar, David, Barbie (Sean) Bailey, and Diana Smith; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022, at 1:00pm at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Mount Vernon, WA. A graveside service will be held on Friday April 22, 2022, at 2:00pm at Hawthorne Memorial Park, Mount Vernon, WA.
