Benjamin Gerald Martin Jr, "Jerry", completed his journey on earth 8/24/2023 after a brief illness.

Jerry was born to Ben and Marion Martin on April 25, 1952. He had fond memories of growing up Sunset Lane with relatives and many friends. He continued those friendships into adulthood.

Jerry married Gail Williams in 1981. They welcomed their son, Benjamin Ernest, in 1984. Jerry loved all things sports, he was an accomplished athlete in high school. He coached AAU basketball for several years, and was on the coveted chain gang for MVHS football. His favorite was golfing with his buddies at Avalon and the Senior League in Lynden.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Gail; son and his wife, Ben and Charissa; and their precious daughter, Kennedy. He is also survived by his sisters Jean Champagne and Gayle Hauntz; their children; several beloved cousins; and his best canine friend, Dipper.
There will be a celebration of Jerry's life at a later date to be announced.
