Obituary

Betty "Bid" Marie Frydenlund of Mount Vernon passed away April 26, 2021 at Brookdale Memory Care in Stanwood. She was born on December 28, 1925 to Maine and Julia Tewalt in Clear Lake, Washington. She attended school in Big Lake and Sedro Woolley graduating from Sedro Woolley High School in 1944.

In 1945 she was married to Robert "Bob" Frydenlund. They had three sons, Richard, Ronald, and Robert. With three sons to raise she was a homemaker the rest of her life.

She especially enjoyed her arts and crafts projects. She loved to paint, draw, crochet, and sew. She made quilts for everyone in the family. Painting was a big enjoyment to her to her until macular degeneration took much of her eyesight. She was not able to do her arts and crafts which she enjoyed so much.

After Bob passed in 2002 after 57 years of marriage, she continued to live on her own for many more years until moving to Brookdale Memory Care in Stanwood two years ago.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bob, brother Reynold Tewalt, sister June Taylor, Grandson Kevin Frydenlund, and great granddaughter Shannon Frydenlund.

She is survived by her sons Rick (Cindy), Ron (Linda), and Bob (Margo). Also survived by 6 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Donations can be made to a charity of your choice.

A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
