It's a very sad week, we've lost a very dedicated Eagle Sister this Tuesday, March 25th. Our beloved sister "Betty Boop" has passed away. She joined the eagles in 1966and was an active member throughout her 59 years as an Eagle Member. She was an Auxiliary President at least 4 times as well as an office off and on during the past several years. She was passionate about the ritual and even competed at the state convention. She was a state chairman several times, including State Mother for me in 2014-15, she not only served her Auxiliary to the fullest but the State Eagles as well. And represented out Skagit Valley wherever she went, always positive, humorous, smile always on her face.

We know that Betty was loved by so many of our Eagles, Siters and Brother, she will surely be missed by all members she touched, we will miss her friendship and humor.

The last time she was President her colors were neon colors, the brighter the better, so if you want to help us by wearing these to her celebration of life, that would be wonderful.

The celebration of life will be April 27th, at the Eagles Club, 119 N. Cherry Street, Burlington, WA, 98233. Sunday afternoon at 1pm. It will be a potluck, if you know her favorite dish feel free to bring it. As for her favorite dessert, I, as her big sister know exactly what she would want me to bring.
