Beverly (Bev) Hope Waltenbaugh was born November 5th, 1934 in Miles City, Montana to Milo and Leona Lahn. As a result of her father's work with the Montana State Highway Deptartment, she spent much of her early years living in several different towns throughout the state. During WWII, she and her family lived for a short time in New Mexico, Colorado, and Texas. Beverly was married to Harry Waltenbaugh on November, 5th 1955. Together they had two children, Gary and Mark Waltenbaugh. Harry's work took them from Montana to Washington State where they lived in the Tri-Cities area for a few months and then in Burlington for most of her remaining years. Beverly worked as an accountant for several area CPAs and retired while working at Hawthorne Funeral Home in Mount Vernon. Beverly passed from this life on Sunday, July 5th, in Mount Vernon, WA. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by her sister, Laquita Enger and two sons; Gary Waltenbaugh and his wife Pam, and Mark Waltenbaugh and his wife Kathi. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Mark and Trina Waltenbaugh, Jason and Jayme Dunham, and Julie Waltenbaugh, and by three great grandchildren. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. A Funeral Service will take place Thursday, July 9, 2015 1:00 p.m. at Hawthorne Funeral Home followed by a Graveside Service at Hawthorne Memorial Park.
