IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Bonnie Lou
Fraser
July 26, 1925 – September 20, 2017
Bonnie Lou Fraser, age 92, went to be with Jesus, her Lord and Savior, on September 20, 2017. She was born to Martin & Erma Diehm in Red Rock, OK on July 26, 1925. She graduated from Oklahoma State A&M University in 1950 with degrees in Mathematics and Business Administration. She married James H. Fraser in 1951 in Red Rock, OK. They enjoyed 47 years together in Wichita, KS and Renton & LaConner, WA before Jim preceded her in death in 1998. Bonnie has 3 daughters and 3 sons-in-law: Diane & Scott Christensen (of Renton, WA), Terri & Mark Morse (of Lake Stevens, WA), and Karen & Lowell Bergen (of Augusta, KS). She will also be lovingly remembered by her 13 grandchildren: Owen & Anna Bergen, Craig & Louisa Christensen, Kale Bergen, Reid Christensen, Ellane & Peyton Wade, Lisa & Tage Aaker, Renae & Ben Chambers and Alek Bergen. She was preceded in death by her brother, Martin Ray Diehm, and is survived by her two sisters Lois Elmore and Anna Mae Russell, and one sister-in-law, Kay Feaster.
Bonnie worked at the Boeing Company as a "human computer" in the early 50's, at the Fantastic Cake Box bakery as bookkeeper in the early 70's, and again at Boeing as an engineering technician in the early 80's. She enjoyed being a mom and grandma, playing bridge, homemaking, and boating. She used her sharp mind and friendliness to contribute to the many communities she lived in, including Shelter Bay in LaConner and most recently Creekside Continuing Care Community in Burlington, WA. Bonnie was a long-standing member at Emmanuel Baptist Church, where a memorial service will be held for her on October 6, 2017, at 3:00 pm. She will be missed by her family and many dear friends. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a memorial fund established in her honor for the Emmanuel Baptist Church Mission Fund. Donations can be mailed to Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1515 E. College Way, Mount Vernon, WA. 98273. There is also an online guestbook at www.hawthornefh.com where the family would appreciate you sharing your memories of Bonnie.
