Bonnie Lorraine Samora

Bonnie Lorraine Samora age 87 passed away peacefully on May 19th, 2026, she was born on May 2nd, 1939, in Sibley Iowa and moved to the Yakima valley in Washington at a young age.

Bonnie lived a life marked by kindness, dedication and love for her family and friends she especially enjoyed family gatherings, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren she will be remembered for her warm heart, good-natured spirit, and the many lives touched throughout the years.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Gilbert Samora and her eldest daughter sandy she is survived by her children candy Benjamin Elizabeth and Michael her sister Gail; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great- grandchild along with extended family members and dear friends who will cherish her memories always.

A viewing will be held on May 28, 2026, from 12:00 to 1:45 PM at Hawthorne Funeral Home 1825 E college way Mount Vernon followed by a memorial service at 2:00pm. A reception will follow the memorial service at the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints 1700 E Hazel St. Mount Vernon WA. A graveside service will be held on Friday May 29th, 2026, 1:00pm at Reservation Memorial Park iin Wapato, 5161 W Wapato Rd, Wapato, WA .
