The last 12 years of his military career were as a Special Agent with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations. While stationed in the United Arab Emirates he served as the senior USAF counterintelligence official.

Brian met and married Judith Margarita Nuñez on November 24, 1994 while stationed in Panama. After they were stateside, they welcomed their daughter Nicole Isabel on September 14, 1997 and later made their home in Bellevue, Nebraska.

After retirement from the military, Brian worked for 10 years in service to US STRATCOM as a Counterintelligence and Strategic Cyber Threat Analyst, and for 6 years at NASA as a Counterintelligence Special Agent.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Judith Eitreim; father-in-law Rufino Nuñez; grandparents Curtis & Virginia Grout, Sydney & Irene Tindall, and Claire & Viola Eitreim; uncle Dave Maars and aunt Diann Maars.

He is survived by his wife, Judith Margarita Tindall; daughters Anne-Marie (Valerie) Shell and Nicole Isabel Tindall; father Reed (Barbara) Tindall; stepfather Duane Eitreim mother-in-law Isabel Noriega; sister Jean (Patrick) O'dell; brothers-in-law Edgar Nuñez,
