Bruce T. Moore was born in Longview, Washington on November 8, 1948, and passed away quickly and unexpectedly at home on February 7, 2017. Bruce was raised in Kelso, Washington and graduated from Kelso High School in 1967. He then attended Western Washington University, where he met his wife, Valerie. Bruce and Valerie married in 1973. He graduated from Western Washington in 1972.  Bruce then started with the state park service, before joining Washington State Fisheries in 1976, eventually becoming a Fisheries Patrol sergeant. He loved his job and enjoyed spending long hours patrolling in boats and airplanes in the San Juans. In 1993, he retired from Fisheries after he was involved in an automobile accident while on the job. His retirement was spent with his family, traveling in his motorhome walking his dog, and watching the Seahawks.

Bruce leaves behind his wife of 43 years, Valerie; his daughter Robyn (Tom) and grandchildren Luke and Kate; his son Marc, and his brother, Steve (Ann). He also leaves behind his best buddy - his dog, Lily.

A memorial service will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church located at 1515 E College Way
