Bryan Stephen Lee, formally of Burlington, WA and recently Watsonville, CA passed away unexpectedly on March 27, 2009. Bryan was born January 20, 1965 in Whittier, CA and moved with his family to Skagit County in 1969. He attended local schools including Immaculate Conception and upon graduation from Burlington Edison High School, he attended Western Washington University. Shortly thereafter, Bryan enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he was stationed out of Norfolk, Virginia completing his tour of duty visiting 18 different countries on an LHA. He loved the outdoors & spending time on the water and continued working for several years on purse seiners and crabber processors in Alaska as well as commercial fishing boats in California. He also spent several years working at the local refineries and in California. He loved to travel and enjoyed very much living a couple of years with several of his Skagit County friends on the island of St. John in the Virgin Isles. Survivors include his parents, Steve & Barb Lee, currently living in Miami, FL, Grandmother Juanita Lee, Hemet, CA, aunts Susan Cooper, Mt. Vernon, WA and Carol Lee, Hemet, CA, daughters Brittany Rimmer, Seattle, WA and Adrian Schmidt, Sedro Woolley, WA, cousins Jack Allen, Mission Viejo, CA, Jerry Allen, Bellingham, WA and Giselle (Jim) Murphy, Onalaska, WA as well as numerous distant cousins. A sister, Carrie Lee, Grandpa "Bus" Lee, and Grandparents Guy and Lucille Faulkner preceded him in death. Memorial services will be held at a later date. In memory of Bryan, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice. Bryan will be interred at Hawthorne Memorial Park.
