In loving memory of our mother Jean Findley: She went to be with our Lord on 10/30/2009. Jean was born in Bartlesville OK in March 1936. She moved to Washington in 1974 from Kansas to be close to her parents as her father was called to Everett to supervise the fabrication of the first Boeing 747. Jean worked as a decaler at Boeing for 20 years along with raising her children. After retiring from Boeing she moved to Mount Vernon in 1999. She enjoyed the company of her children, painting ceramics, gardening, using her computer, growing in our Lord at Calvary Baptist Church and driving her new car. Jean was a wonderful loving mother of 5 children and will be deeply missed. She is survived by her mother Doris Stewart who is her closest friend, and her brother Don Stewart of Richland WA. Her children include Dave Findley of Springfield MO, Sherry Corey of Everett WA, Jerry Findley of Bellingham WA, Russ Barker and Ron Findley also of Mount Vernon WA. She had many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorials/Donations may be sent to Calvary Baptist Church building fund. . A Memorial Service will be held Saturday November 7, 2009, 1:30pm at Calvary Baptist Church 321 Avon St. in Burlington.
