Charles (Chuck) McClelland, 81, of Sedro Woolley passed away peacefully on June11, 2018. He is now in the arms of his Lord. Chuck graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 1954. After high school he served 4 years in the United States Airforce. On June 15, 1957 Chuck married the love of his life Janet Baxter and the two were happily married for 61 years.
Chuck worked for his father in the Evergreen business before he went to work General Chemical. He stayed at General Chemical for 20 years. Chuck and Janet lived in Clear Lake, WA for 42 years before moving to Sedro-Woolley, WA. He was a longtime member of the North Cascade Christian Fellowship Church in Sedro-Woolley.
Chuck is survived by his wife Janet McClelland; sons Greg (Angela) McClelland and Jeff (Jan) McClelland; daughter Suzanne (Shem) Heller; 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters Phyliss Lambert, Sylvia (Jim) Ammones; brother Tom McClelland and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Sherman and Lula Belle McClelland and his 2 sisters Louise McClelland and Betty Burt.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 11:00am at North Cascade Christian Fellowship Church in Sedro- Woolley, WA.
