Christina C. Ness (AKA Clifford Ness), 77, passed away on June 7, 2024, at her home in Concrete, WA.  She was born on March 8, 1947, in Oakland, CA.

Christina graduated from Edison High School in Stockton, CA in 1964 and then attended San Juaquin Delta College from 1975 to 1990.  She married in 1979 and moved to Washington in 1983. She welcomed a daughter in 1978 and became a grandparent in 2015. Christina was a race car driver from 1978-1980, a lead operator at a water reclamation facility for the city of Blaine from 1983-2019, and was a professional soundman in 1990. Christina was also a transgender advocate and had a sex change in 2010.

Christina loved many things. She loved being a grandparent and father, as well as gardening, camping, woodworking, watching sprint car races, barbequing, and being with family. He was passionate about being a transgender advocate, as well as racing and being a backyard mechanic.

Christina was involved with the Teamster Union Prudential, the Sierra Club, the Transgender Association, and the 40-30 American Car Collectors.

Christina is survived by daughter Jennifer Ness, sister Sarah Rose, brother Jon Ness, granddaughter Isabella Cochran, brother-in-law David Rose, sister-in-law Terri Ness, ex-brother-in-law Cameron Hood, ex-wife Valerie Hood, and fiancé Jackie.

A service will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024, at 1:00 PM. A graveside funeral service will be held at Hawthorne Memorial Park in Mount Vernon, along with a private live broadcast and recording
