Obituary

Clarence Earl Whited Born August 9, 1924 in Burlington Junction, Missouri passed away February 18, 2018 in Mount Vernon, Washington at the age of 93.
Earl married Betty Hill December 22, 1956. Together they raised a blended family of eight children. Sons Warren Hill and Kenneth Hill and son in-law Tom Wallace preceded him in death. He is survived by wife Betty, of 61 years at the family home in Mount Vernon. He is also survived by children Anona (Harry) Greenwalt, Ben Whited, Ruth Clinger, Marilyn (Jim) Roberts, Karen Wallace, Robert (Debbie) Hill, and daughter in-laws Kathy (Warren) Hill, and Lorna (Kenneth) Hill; 28 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, and 16 great, great grandchildren; sister-in-law: Verna (James) Whited and numerous nieces and nephews.
Earl was an avid hunter & fisherman. In his retirement years he found his love of working with his hands making many wood working projects. His most loved projects were his log house bird feeders and bird houses. His other love was bowling which he continued to do until he was 90 years old. Earl was a member of the Fredonia Grange.
Donations in his memory may be made to Habitat for Humanity or a charity of your choice.
Graveside services for family will be at 10:00 am Saturday February 24th at Hawthorne Memorial Park to be followed by an 11:00 am celebration of life in the Hawthorne Reception Room.
Family and friends are invited to a reception after the services at the Little Mountain Estate Club House to share memories of Earl.
