Daniel Maxfield Keck, 46, born to Margaret and Thomas Keck, unexpectedly passed away in his home July 28 ^th . Born in Mount Vernon, graduated from MVHS, and received his CIS from SVC. Daniel married Megan Murphy and raised 3 children together: Elizabeth, Katherine, and Alexander. Daniel is also survived by his sisters: Bethany and Sarah, his mother, niece Abbi, nephew Preston, niece Juniper, cousin Alyssa and her children Sophia and Mateo. He spent his life as a carpenter, helping his father, doing countless handyman projects, working at Boeing, Skagit Regional Hospital, and the Skagit Casino. Daniel was passionate about soccer, coaching his children's teams and refereeing for years. He shared his passion for the game of soccer and the Sounders with his kids and Sarah, never missing a game. Daniel loved animals, growing up in 4H and raising multiple cats, dogs, goats, and rabbits. He enjoyed reading and expanding his knowledge, as seen by his book collection.
