Daniel Lee Martin Danny was born December 18, 1958 in Mount Vernon, WA to Claude Martin and Sharon Rasmussen (Lee); he passed away February 29, 2012 at his home on Camano Island surrounded by family. Danny spent his young years travelling due to his fathers military service. Danny did graduate from Mount Vernon High School in 1977. After graduating he joined the United States Marine Corps in 1978. Danny married Nancy Wilhelm in 1986, they had two sons. Danny loved cars-he was the ultimate gearhead. Danny also enjoyed working for H.B. Jaeger Company in Burlington driving trucks. Danny is survived by his wife: Carol (Osborn) Martin; sons: Scott (Meghann) and Chris Martin; mother: Sharon (Donn) Rasmusen; sister: Kim (Eric) Knapp; brother: Keith (Val) Martin; Grandfather: Joe Lee; step son: Craig Woolman; granddaughter: Addison Martin. Danny was preceded in death by his father, Claude Martin in 1986; grandma: Phyllis Lee. A Military Urnside Service will be held Saturday, March 10, 2012, 1:00 pm at Hawthorne Memorial Park, followed by a Reception in the Hawthorne Reception Room.
