Danny was born April 26, 1941 in Burlington,WA to Oliver "Bus" and Doris Miller. He passed away July 9, 2008 in Sedro Woolley, with loved ones by his side. Danny graduated from Burlington-Edison High School in 1959. His whole life was in dairy and crop farming. He married Carol J. Arp on August 19, 1977. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and time spent with friends. Danny was Vice-President of Skagit Unit of Washington State, Director on the Washington State Dairy Federation, Washington State Farmer's degree, recipient of the highest American Farmer's-FFA degree, Director of Skagit County Holstein Club, Director of Darigold, member of Skagit Golf and Country Club, past member of Burlington Eagles, and past member of Mount Vernon ELKS Club. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Carol; brother: Donny L. Miller; special nephew: Matt Miller and his wife, Kim and their children: Jonathan Lee and Emma Mae and Matt's mother, Annie Miller; cousins: Marilynn Halkola and her husband, John and their family, Fred Miller and his wife, Susan and their family, Karen (Tenneson) Jessup and her husband, Denny and their family, Sandra Tenneson, Randy Finsen and his wife, Marilyn and their family, and Cheri Fredlund and her husband, Jim and their family; two stepchildren: Debbie Bahr (Max) and Dan Arp (Annette); three step-grandchildren: Christy Bahr, David Bahr and Tyler Arp. He was preceded in death by his parents and a special grandmother, Elma Miller; uncle: Floyd Miller; his favorite aunt: Ruth Finsen; niece: Abigail Miller Busche and her husband, Ryan Busche. A Celebration of Danny's life will be held Monday, July 21, 2008, 5:00 pm at the Skagit Golf and Country Club in Burlington.
