Darlene Marie Barnhart, 47, of Mount Vernon, WA passed away on October 4, 2020.  Darlene was born in San Jose, CA on July 23, 1973 to Theodore and Lynn Clay.

Darlene met the love of her life John Barnhart and the two were married on March 27, 2009.  Soon after they welcomed their son Dane Barnhart on April 3, 2010.  Darlene had many hobbies and activities such as hiking, bike riding, yoga, meditation, stickers, dancing, gymnastics, taking long road trips, traveling, holiday decorations, and most of all she loved spending time with her family.  Another of her favorite activities was volunteering her time at Lincoln and Harriet Rowley Elementary Schools.

Darlene is survived by her husband John Barnhart, son Dane Barnhart, sister Michele Clay Bassett, brother Donald Clay, mother Lynn Clay and father Ted Clay.

A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later time.
