Darlene Joyce Heller Darlene was born August 24, 1934 in Bridgeport, Nebraska to Roy and Velvia Keller; she passed away September 6, 2015 in Mount Vernon, WA. She married Lyle O Heller June 17, 1951, they moved to New Plymouth, Idaho in 1952 and then to Mount Vernon, WA in 1956. She was self employed as an artist and worked with Lyle at Wayside Gardens in Conway as well. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mount Vernon. She was an avid gardener. She is survived by: children: Sharon (Mark) Snow, Linda (Vic) Heller, Larry (Dana) Heller, Laura (Steve) Dundin; 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and brother Dewayne (Maxine) Keller; she was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Lyle and sister: Donna Viewing will be held Thursday, September 17, 2015, 10:00 am until 5:00 pm at Hawthorne Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will be held Friday, September 18, 2015, 11:00 am at Hawthorne Memorial Park. Memorials may be made in Darlene's name to the Humane Society of Skagit County or the Disabled American Veterans of Skagit County.
