Obituary

Deborah Torbergson Welles-Watts, age 73, Passed away peacefully on September 2, 2020 in Mount Vernon, WA. She was born July 23, 1947 in Seattle, WA

After graduating high school, and working for a short while at Boeing, she married Ron Canniff in May, 1968. In 1970 & 1971 the couple welcomed two wonderful children, a boy and girl, (Mark & Jaye respectively), into the world. Then later she remarried in August, 1981 to Sidney Welles-Watts, and moved to London, England. In 1982 the family welcomed a beautiful boy in July, 1982 (Courtney). Residing in London, until they bought a house in the Southwest of England. Deborah spent many happy years in the area before moving back to the Puget Sound, 29 years later, due to failing health and wanting to be closer to the family. In 2011, Deborah finally moved into the apartment complex in Mount Vernon.

Deborah (or Debbie to her family and friends), in her teenage years she shared a passion for horses and horseback riding with her sister, Karen. Also, throughout her life was a kindred spirit to all animals, especially dogs.

Deborah is survived by: Mark Canniff (son), Lisa Naquin Canniff (daughter-in-law), Phillip Geralds (grandson), Jaye Canniff (daughter), Shawn Brown (father of Brandon and Alana), Brandon Canniff Brown (grandson), Alana Canniff Brown (granddaughter), Courtney Welles-Watts (son), and nephews: Justin Hallee & Steven Hallee. Plus many other family and friends. She joins: Harold Torbergson, Jeannette Marie Faivre Torbergson, and Karen Torbergson Hallee. (Father, mother, and sister respectively.)

At this time, services for Deborah are pending.
