Delores Bacoka, 97, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2022, in Mount Vernon, WA.

Mom was born August 11, 1924, in Sedro-Woolley, to Eugene and Irene Rochon, the only girl with 3 brothers.

She attended Everett schools and graduated from Everett High School where she met Francis Bacoka.  They were married for 67 years, before his passing.  They lived in Pullman while Dad attended school and moved to Burlington around 1950.  There she made many lifelong friends.  They moved to Mount Vernon in the late 1950's.

She worked as a bookkeeper, retiring from Skagit Valley Trucking in 1984.

Mom's hobbies were tole painting, and her weekly Bridge club.  She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed trying new recipes and cooking for her Family.

Mom is survived by her 3 Daughters, Janice Bannister, Teresa (Randy) Flagg, Carrie (Brian) Rolfson, Son in Law, Merwyn Dutton and sister in law Gerrie Rochon.  Grandchildren Lisa Lomsdalen, Steve Hoover, Jason Hoover, Michael Dutton, Kelly van Valey, Jenna Flagg, Kyle Rolfson, Sarah McCown, Jackie Nottis, 20 Great grandchildren, and 5 Great great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Husband Francis Bacoka, eldest Daughter Cathy Dutton, Son in law Dean Bannister, her Parents, Brothers, Brother in laws and Sister in laws.

Mom will be remembered for the love she gave and received from her large Family.

Upon Mom's request there will be no memorial service, just a private internment. Any donations can be made to Hospice of the Northwest.
