Dolores "Dee" F. (Tilley) Powell passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at PeaceHealth Whatcom Hospice House.

Dolores was born on February 16, 1948 in Houston Texas to Arthur and Norma Tilley. She made her way to the Pacific Northwest and worked in the culinary arts at Edison Elementary School in Edison, and also at United General Hospital in Sedro-Woolley until she married Terry Powell on October 30, 1974. She then became a homemaker and took care of their children Bobbi and Tony. She enjoyed cooking and baking, caring for her family and spending time with her grandchildren.

Dolores was preceded in death by her parents Arther and Norma Tilley, son James Swanson, sister Nancy Elshaug and brother Glen Tilley. She is survived by her husband Terry A. Powell, her children Bobbi Swanson, Tony Swanson (Tami), her brother Bill Tilley and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
