Donald Keith Regalia, Sr., 84, was at home, surrounded by his family when he peacefully passed away and went to live with his Lord, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, May 30, 2012. Don was born in Seattle, WA on August 24, 1927 to William and Ruth (Polley) Regalia. He graduated from Queen Anne High School. He served in the United States Army Air Force towards the end of WW11. Don worked in the family business, Regalia Auto Parts until his retirement. Don is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Betty, his sons, David and Jon. He is survived by his beloved wife, Shirley, his children; Kathy (Dave) Darlington, Karen (Morris) Ray and Don Regalia, Jr., Shirley's children; Kirstin (Shawn) DeWeese, Craig Oppedal and Karen (Mike) Zielinski. Don has 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and many, many friends. Don was a strong, loving, gentle man, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p. m., Saturday, June 30, 2012, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1515 East College Way, Mount Vernon, Washington. Private family inurnment will take a place at Tahoma National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Building Fund, or your favorite charity.
