Obituary

In 1954, at 19 years old, Donnie moved from Oklahoma to WA, to be near his older brother Billie, with only $16 in his pocket.  He got a $2 an hour job at a portable Mill on Sauk Mountain.  Soon after, he met his future bride Sandy, which he married in June 1956.

In 1960, he started his career at Goodyear Nelson Hardwood Mill in Sedro Woolley, working his way up to from the Pond to Head sawyer.
He was an avid fisherman who fished lakes, streams and the San Juan Islands.  He loved camping and sitting around the campfire deciphering Lucky Lager bottle caps with family and friends.

Racing Pigeons was another of his passions.  It was a family affair competing with his brother-in-law Jack and his family.

He always had a beautiful garden that he shared with his family, neighbors and friends.  He grew many different trees from all across the US.
In 1994 Donnie retired and started "Living The American Dream".  They traveled around the US towing their RV playing in many pool tournaments at 1,000 Trails making many new friends.

Donnie is survived by His two children: Ron Ruyle (wife) Tana Loop-Ruyle, Stanwood, WA.  Kim Jurkovich (husband) Steve Jurkovich, Burlington, WA.  Grandchildren: Kendra Woods San Diego, CA, Angela Ruyle, and Aaron Ruyle Combine, TX.
