Douglas L Solbeck, died March 14, 2013 at his home in Burlington of cancer. Douglas was born March 20, 1943 in Seattle, WA to Donald and Olga Solbeck. Douglas spent his educational years in Seattle graduating form Ingraham High School in 1961. He started working at The Boeing Company in 1965 until his retirement in 2006. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Linda; daughters: DeeDee Carpenter (Chris) and Karen Solbeck; sister: Pam Tooley (Paul); several friends, cousins, nieces and nephew; his special four legged family members: Missy and Shasta. He was preceded in death by his parents. He will be sorely missed by his family. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 23, 2013, 2:00 pm at Hawthorne Funeral Home, 1825 E College Way, Mount Vernon.
