IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Edward
Sampson
December 13, 1985 – December 2, 2024
Edward (Eddy) Sampson was born in Seattle, WA on December 13, 1985 and passed away in Seattle on December 2, 2024. He is survived by his parents, Daryl Sampson and Vineta Carrigan, and his siblings, William, Oli, and Sam, as well as countless close friends and extended family.
Eddy was a kind and spirited soul who found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved swimming in any weather, long walks around the lake, playing pool, and bonding with every dog he met. An avid fan of western movies and books, he appreciated the rugged charm of their stories. His love for music ranged from danceable beats to the unexpected—like his fondness for Lana Del Rey—and those present for his car singalongs will always cherish those memories.
Known for his humor and resourcefulness, Eddy took life's challenges in stride, even mastering creative ways to play pool after losing a hand. He valued friendships deeply, treating friends like family and always making people feel welcome. He had a knack for trying to fix things—whether or not they were fixable—and a soft spot for pranking loved ones, especially with fake poo.
Eddy was also a devoted "Uncle Eddy" to the children of his family and close friends, who adored his playful nature. From tea parties to late-night snacks, he was always there to bring joy. His love for food was unmatched, often leading to naps with his famous snoring that he claimed were proof of a good meal.
Eddy's big heart and easygoing spirit made him unforgettable. He'll be dearly missed by all who knew him.
At the request of the family, no public service is planned.
