IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Eleanor Marie
Schmidt
July 11, 1956 – December 24, 2017
Eleanor "Spike" Marie Schmidt, age 61 passed away December 24th, 2017 surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was always known as Spike to her family and friends! She was a life long resident of Skagit County and a registered Nurse for 35 years. She took care of everyone. She loved her family first and fierce. Spike had one daughter, Lene Schille, and 2 grandsons, Ethan and Scott Hulse, who were the gold in her rainbow. Spike had a life partner, Tim Ammons who preceded her in death and who she now joins as another star in God's Crown. She was the middle of 3 sisters, Cohorts Judy Hufferd and Nancy Brown. Spike was the planner, the fixer, the one who never gave up. Her friendships were lifelong. Her sense of humor was boundless. She was determined in life, and adventurous on her path to the very end. She touched our hearts. She will be missed by all who knew her. She said, "When the bells ring, Angels are born." We ring the bells for her. She is survived by her Daughter and Son In-Law Lene and Arron Schille, Grandsons Ethan and Scott Hulse, Sisters Judy Hufferd and Nancy Brown as well as several nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews. She is preceded in Death by her Father Gorman Schmidt, Mother Mary Jo Schmidt, and Life Long Partner, Tim Ammons.
