Obituary

Elizabeth Pauline Dailey passed from this life in the early morning hours of 28 December 2016 at the age of 73 at her home in Arlington Washington.

"Pauline" or "Beth" as she was known was born on 12 June 1943 to Walter and Lizzie Clifton in Attalla Alabama and was the oldest of 15 children. She married Charles O. Mathis at an early age, but later divorced and moved to Waterloo Iowa. She married Henry George Dailey on 23 November 1961 and moved to the Seattle Washington area in 1966. She is the mother of 6 children, 2 of whom preceded her in death.

Pauline was an enthusiastic reader and evangelical Christian who loved to read the scriptures and was formerly a Sunday school teacher at the Chapel of Peace in the Silver Lake area of Everett Washington. She was a waitress most of her working career but her primary calling in this life was taking care of others, a labor of love that she pursued most of her life until this past year when her personal disabilities finally forced her to allow her family to take care of her for a change.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Henry Dailey, children: Charles & Theresa Mathis, Ella Tiberio, Michael & Tye Dailey and Kelly Dailey. She is also survived by 12 brothers and sisters, 20 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She is deeply loved and will be greatly missed. We love you Mom, God keep you till we meet again.

"For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive." 1 Corinthians 15:22
