August 13, 1997 – April 14, 2020

Emily Renate Jackson passed away April 14, 2020, at home in Burlington, Washington. She brought light, love and laughter to our world and shared it with all her heart. When she shared her smile, it was like she renewed her own strength. She simply loved life. She enjoyed drawing, anything outdoors, sports, music, family, and friends. Most of all, she loved spending time with her mom. She traveled seeing so many new places. She went to Australia and Chicago alone but built memories and met new friends who became family to her.

Emily may have been nervous to take on new challenges, but she did it with courage and strength – "You can never cross the ocean unless you have the courage to lose sight of the shore". Her beautiful soul will forever be missed. Fly away Bird – be forever strong and always in our hearts!

She is survived by her Mom Barbara Jackson, brother Corey Jackson and his fiancé Jayce Wasem, her nephew Sage Wyatt Jackson and soon to arrive niece Violet Jackson, her Dad Jeffrey Jackson and his wife Christine Jackson and her children Kyle Gibson, Ashley and Kaare Anderson, her Oma Renate Whaley, Uncle Robert Chili Hicks, Aunt Cheryl, Uncle Mike, Aunt Sandy, Aunt Deanna and cousins Katrina Alexander, Jennifer Blevins, Michael Alexander Jr, Lindsay Wright, Courtney Niebruegge, Abigail Hicks, Timothy Whaley, Destiny Davis, Nevaeh Whaley, Grandma Sue, Grandpa Don, Grandma Tamara, Aunt Amy, Aunt Terry, Uncle Greg, Uncle Pat, Uncle Kenny, Uncle Billy and their families.  She is predeceased by her Papa Hilary Whaley and Grandpa Gary.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Girls on the Run, www.girlsontherun.org , in honor of Emily Jackson. The family will host a celebration of life, and information will be provided once our community opens back up.
