Erik John Twede was born May 15, 1992, to Kent Knutzen and Karen Twede. He passed November 22, 2025, from complications to Duchenne muscular Dystrophy and ulcerated colitis. He was 33 years old.

Erik Lived a full life. He attended Bay View Elementary school and Burlington-Edison High school where he competed with the debate team. At age 15 he started using power wheelchair which enabled him to purse his interests and dreams. After high school he commuted to Bellingham to attend Western Washington University. He traveled with the university debate team throughout Washington and Oregon. He loved doing research, forming arguments and being a part of a team.

Erik Started working for Double K Farms when he was 8 years old helping with irrigation. At age 10 he added tractor driving and later moved to doing bookkeeping and technology for the farm. Erik work for Double K for 25 years.

There will be no memorial.
