Erika Sophie Goosz Erika was born August 1, 1922 in Germany to Frederick and Elise Voigt; she passed away December 9, 2007 in Mount Vernon, WA. Erika is survived by her daughters: Brigitte "Getty" (Darryl) Phippen and Susan Goosz; grandchildren: Natalie (Kevin) Simpson, Christopher, Emily and Kimberly Marshall and Tina Goosz; great-grandchildren: Tyler and Erika Simpson; sister Ola (Horst) Nowatzky of Cuxhan, Germany and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son: Claus W. "Butch" Goosz. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, December 13, 2007, 1:00pm at Hawthorne Funeral Home. Erika will be inurned with her late husband, Claus G. Goosz in Arlington Heights, Illinois
