Obituary
Frances J Bruns, 96, passed away peacefully at Life Care Center in Mount Vernon, WA on February 24, 2018. She was a truly remarkable lady, an avid sports fan, and mentally sharp to the very end.
Frances was born in Buffalo, North Dakota on December 28, 1921 to parents, Holger and Elizabeth Rasmussen.
She is survived by her daughter Kaye Shaw, granddaughter Michaelann Agoranos (Paul), grandsons Alek and Gabriel Agoranos. She is also survived by her sisters Anolea Eddy (Sis), and Bettye Van Putten, brothers Robert Rasmussen, and Donn Rasmussen (Sharon), well as many nieces and nephews.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers Aaron, Raymond, and Kenneth Rasmussen. Her husband Fred Bruns, to whom she was married for 53 years.
Her family would sincerely like to thank the entire staff at Life Care Center for her care, and for the love that was expressed for her during the three years she lived there. She will be missed, but not forgotten. She is delightfully dancing with Fred (Daddy) in Heaven, and directing the daily activities. Her sister Anolea (Sis) will now take over the directing in this life.
Arrangements are under the care of Hawthorne Funeral Home, Mount Vernon, WA.
