Frances Ver Mulm, age 96, passed on to be with her Lord and Savior on April 17, 2023.

Frances was born in Inwood, Iowa on June 10, 1926 to Nicholas Cloo and Frances DeGroot. She was the youngest of six children. In 1936 her father was called to the Reformed Church, Artesia, California.

Fran worked at Artesia Hospital as a nurse's aide for several years. Then worked as a dental assistant for over five years.

Fran met Cornelius, who would go on to be to love of her life, at Christian Endeavors in California. On August 6, 1947 they were married. Cornie and Fran shared 64 years together. Anyone who was blessed to know them knows the special relationship that they shared.

They shared a life devoted to the Lord, their family, their friends, and their church. Fran was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church for many years where she taught Sunday school, was a discussion leader in Bible class, and served as a deaconess.

They also shared a life devoted to their family. Cornie and Fran had five children. Lyle (Audrey) VerMulm, Randy (Vicki) VerMulm, Kenneth (Karen) VerMulm, Daniel VerMulm and Corrine (David) Phillips. She is proceeded in death by Cornelius and Kenneth. Fran was so proud of her 14 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and 18 great great grandchildren. Fran would always have a baby snuggled comfortably in her arms. Her love for her family was only surpassed by her love of the Lord. Her family filled her heart with joy and she was always ready and waiting to hear all the new stories and adventures of their lives. She and Cornie lead their family with love and strong faith, the legacy they created lives deep in our hearts.
