Francisco Garcia Mireles, lovingly known as Pancho, of Mount Vernon, Washington, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025, at the age of 72.

He is survived by his children Laura Mireles, Francisco "Punch" Mireles, Christina Nunez and son-in-law J. Socorro Nunez, and Connie Sheridan and son-in-law Nate Sheridan; his former wife and lifelong friend, Ophelia Stoop; his sisters Janie Mireles, Sylvia Allen, Maggie Ramirez, Lydia Uvalle, Susana Mireles Lopez, and Betty Mireles; and his beloved grandchildren Imari Rodriguez, Neisah Rodriguez, Gianni Mireles, Kalel Mireles, Lyric Mireles, Jiovanni Nunez, Andres Nunez, Devian Nunez, Kaila Nunez, Austin Sheridan, and Annalyse Sheridan.

He was preceded in death by his siblings Santos Reyes Mireles, Rolando Mireles, Ramiro Mireles, and Lupe Mireles.

Dad (Pancho) had the biggest heart and a wonderful sense of humor. He was a natural storyteller whose jokes and laughter could light up any room. He loved his family and friends deeply and found joy in barbecuing, fishing, singing—especially with his kids—and spending time surrounded by those he loved most.

His laughter, warmth, and love of life will forever be remembered by all who were lucky enough to know him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, and the family will share details once available.
