IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Frank Carl
Spane
December 17, 1957 – December 1, 2025
Frank Spane, born December 17, 1957, in Mount Vernon, Washington, passed away on December 1, 2025. He was raised in Mount Vernon by his mother, Mary Anna, after the passing of his father, Carl Spane, when he was three years old. He grew up alongside his siblings: Susan, Debra, Steve, and Mary Spane, the latter two of whom survive him.
Frank attended Mount Vernon High School. Shortly after graduating, he began a career in law enforcement after being encouraged to apply while working at a local gas station. He joined the police force around 1980 and served his community with dedication and integrity for nearly 40 years. Known for treating everyone with respect and fairness, Frank was recognized for exemplary service, including receiving a Medal of Merit. He retired in 2022.
Frank was a devoted father to his three children, Frank Jr. (Carl), Kira, and James, and a loving grandfather. He cherished time spent with his family, his two dogs, tinkering with his cars, and working in his backyard smoking meats.
Frank will be remembered for his quiet strength, generosity, sense of humor, and steadfast devotion to his family and community.
