Gary Everett Wood, 75, of Bow, WA passed away peacefully on December 20, 2023, in Mount Vernon, WA.  Gary was born December 3, 1948, in Burlington, WA.

After high school Gary joined the United States Marine Corps from 1966 to 1970 where he served proudly in Vietnam.  When he left the military, he joined Laborers Union 901 and worked there for over 50 years until he retired.

Gary enjoyed hunting, fishing, helping his neighbors with odd jobs and mowing the grass.

Gary is survived by his sisters Linda Wood and Carol Wood, niece Melissa Steinman and nephew Michael Wood.  He was preceded in death by his parents Everett and Alene Wood, brother James Wood and sister-in-law Nancy Wood.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024, at 1:00pm at Hawthorne Memorial Park, Mount Vernon, WA.
