Gerald Kunferman, 77, passed away at Harborview Hospital in Seattle, WA on September 18, 2018. Gerald was born to Donald and Patricia Kunferman on May 6, 1941 in Burlington, WA where he grew up with his sister Sharon Kunferman.
Jerry attended ICC and graduated from Burlington High School and Skagit Valley College. He was an army veteran and was stationed in New York. That is where he met the love of his life Kathy. The two returned to Washington in 1964 and made a home. Gerald and Kathy started their family having a daughter Staci and a son Chris Kunferman.
Gerald had many hobbies and loved working the house and woodworking, which he took great pride in doing. Gerald always looked forward to spending weekends and holidays camping at Birch Bay and Samish Island.
Jerry retired from Smokey Point Sales after 30 years of service as the Parts Manager.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jerry is survived by his wife Kathy Kunferman, daughter Staci Kunferman, son Chris Kunferman and his grandchildren Keenan, Sam, Lala, Angel and Silas.
