Gerald Lee Porter (Jerry) age 63, passed away unexpectedly on August 26, 2020.

Jerry was born in Mt. Vernon Washington to Keith Porter and Shirley Eccles on April 10, 1957 and lived most of his life in Skagit County, graduating from Burlington-Edison High School.

Jerry met his wife, Linda Jenkins, in 1982 and married January 8, 1993.

Together they resided most of their marriage in Skagit County.

Jerry loved fishing, boating, camping and enjoyed woodworking and was also quite the prankster! He was very close to his family, especially his grand-children whom he adored!

Most of his career he worked as a Millwright, finally retiring in April 2019 and settling permanent residency in Big Lake, Washington where Jerry loved to fish.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents and brother Ken Porter.

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Porter; Daughter Maria Roedell and Husband Shane; Son James Graham; Two Granddaughter's; Brandi Self and Cassidy Roedell and one Grandson Austin Graham.

His siblings; Jim Porter, John Porter, Connie Noahr and husband Dave, Keith Porter and Sandy Porter. Also several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and lots of loving friends.

A celebration of life will be announced at later date
