Todd Perry Bos

Todd, age 77, passed away peacefully in his home on December 13, 2017 after an 8 year battle with cancer.  He is survived by his wife of nearly 52 years, Susan Smiley Bos; two daughters: Tina Bos Devenport (Kent) and Tresa Bos LeVasseur (Bob); 4 grandchildren, Kaden Devenport, Daniel, Kathryn and Leah LeVasseur; borther: Robert Bos (Linda); sister-in-law: Julie Smiley; niece: Renata Bos and nephew: David Bos; and numerous extended family and friends who loved him dearly.

Todd was born on September 4, 1940 in Oak Harbor, WA to Renata and Willard Bos.  He graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 1958 and served in the U.S. Army until 1961.  He was a long time employee of the Skagit County Public Utility District in Mount Vernon where he retired in 2010.  He was a lifelong resident of Mount Vernon, and a favorite on South 10 ^th Street for nearly 50 years.  Todd was larger than life and loved by all for his joyous spirit and quick wit.  He spent many hours on the golf course, woodworking and pampering his lawn.  Special Thanks for Skagit Valley Hospital Regional Cancer Care Center employees for their years of exceptional care and love.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the Cancer Society or Hospice of the Northwest Foundation.

A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held at Salem Lutheran Church in Mount Vernon on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 2:00 PM.
