Gordon lost his battle with cancer on February 21, 2023. Born June 16, 1954 to Ray and Zona Sjogren and grew up in Mount Vernon with his brother David.

He graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 1972, Skagit Valley College in 1974, Washington State University in 1976, Western Washington University in 1979 and worked at Boeing for 30 years.

After retirement he moved back to Mount Vernon and enjoyed reading, music, nature, volunteering for local conservation groups and hanging out at local coffee shops.

Gordon was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by brother David (Sandy), nephews and niece Jeff (Melissa) Jon and Stacey (Shah) and great nieces Haleigh and Harlow.

Gordon wished to thank the team at Skagit Valley Hospital Regional Cancer Care Center for their outstanding support.
