Guadalupe "Lupe" Garza, Jr. Lupe died peacefully on March 2, 2007 in Texas, at the age of 47. He was born in Brownsville, TX on April 6, 1959. He moved to Washington with his parents in 1967. He moved to Texas in 1979. Lupe is survived by his siblings: Pauline (Perfecto) Castellon of Mount Vernon, Juan O. (Rocio) Garza of Mount Vernon, Monico (Fernanda) Garza of Mount Vernon, Maria (Jaime) Garza-Guerra of Houston, TX, Paula (Dennis) Garza-Britt of Houston, TX, Georgia Garza of Houston, TX, Nancy Garza of Houston, TX, and Gabriela (Eduardo) Sanchez of Mount Vernon; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Lupe was preceded in death by his parents: Guadalupe Sr. and Paula Garza and sister, Valentina Valera. Lupe lived in Mount Vernon for most of his life. Lupe was employed in the restaurant industry for most of his life. Lupe enjoyed restoring antiques and furniture. Lupe loved his family dearly. We would like to thank everyone who kept him in their prayers during his illness. Viewing will be held Friday, March 9, 2007, 10:30 am until the funeral mass, 1:00 pm at St. Charles Catholic Church, followed by the committal at Hawthorne Memorial Park in the Garza Family Plot.
