Guadalupe "Lupe" Manrique, Jr. Guadalupe "Lupe" Manrique, Jr., age 43, passed away Wednesday May 30, 2012 in Mount Vernon after a courageous battle with lung cancer. He was born April 21, 1969 in Sunnyside, WA to Guadalupe and Albina Manrique. Lupe grew up in Mount Vernon, WA. Surviving Lupe is his daughter: Natasha Robinson; mother: Albina Manrique; brothers: James Manrique (Linda), Blue Manrique, Joe Manrique (Susie), Richard Manrique (Maria), Henry Manrique, Michael Manrique, Martin Manrique, Jessie Manrique, Juan Manrique and Victor Manrique; sisters: Guadalupe Flores (Cruz), Soila De La Cruz (Chente), Maria Aurora Bravo (Isaias), Julia Johnston (Les), Yolanda Manrique; and numerous nieces and nephews. Lupe was preceded indeath by his father, Guadalupe, his sister Ofelia, and brothers: Martin and David. Lupe will be dearly missed by his friends and family. Viewing will be held Sunday, June 3, 2012, 9:30 am until the chapel service, 11:00 am at Hawthorne Funeral Home. A reception will follow at the family home, 408 S 25th St., Mount Vernon.
