Helen Lucile Damon passed away in her home, on the farm, Thursday evening May 24 ^th just before midnight surrounded by family.

Helen grew up on her parent's family farm in Allen and graduated from Burlington-Edison High School in 1951. She married Joseph C. Damon, October 30, 1953 at the Salem Lutheran Church in Mount Vernon.

Helen lived a simple life on the farm and resided in the same home for 65 years. She was known for her baking, gardening and raising baby calves. Her yard was a showcase of beautiful flowers.

She is survived by her son, Michael Damon and his wife Londa; daughter, Patty Wood and her husband Don; brother, Jim Taft and his wife Bonnie; 3 grandchildren; Karen McDonnell and her husband John; Todd Wood and his girlfriend Jessica Hartle; Kirk Damon and his wife Jennifer; 4 great grandchildren; Kenzie and Asa Damon; Emma and Gracie McDonnell; and Kaysha, Jazlyn and Sonja Hartle.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph C. Damon; parents, Albert and Jennie Taft; sister, Dorothy Damon.         `

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday June 2 ^nd , 2018 at 11:00 am at the Allen Fire Department, 9061 Avon Allen RD. Bow WA 98232
