Helen M. Weyer passed away peacefully on February 2 ^nd , 2022.  She was born in Enderby, B.C. to Robert and Natalie Geisler on August 10 ^th , 1930.  Helen graduated Bible School at Briercrest, Saskatchewan in 1948.  Helen met Paul Weyer in Whiterock B.C. fell in love and married on May 1 ^st , 1954, in New Westminster B.C.  The new couple moved to Bellingham and Paul went to work in Pt Barrow, Alaska where Helen visited for a summer and fall in 1956 living in an Eskimo village from August 15 ^th 1956 to November 27 ^th 1956 and fell  in love with the people and their joyful approach to life. After Alaska Helen and Paul moved to Mt Vernon until moving to Bayview in 1968.  They lived in Bayview till 2008 and then moved back to Mt Vernon.

Helen was very active in church, singing in the church choir, taught Sunday School, had bible studies at home.

She enjoyed cooking and baking, gardening, and loved to fish and go boating. She was also an outstanding slalom water-skier.  Helen also loved to travel the U.S. and the World.  One of Helen's greatest joys was reading.

After retiring and spending winters in Arizona Helen became involved in supporting single mom's, getting them into an apartment, providing childcare and helping the mom's finish schooling so they could have a career and support themselves.

Helen is survived by her children Greg Weyer, Michelle Linke, grandchildren Neil Weyer, Katie Weyer, Lauryn Linke and Chris Linke, great child Tia Weyer and her brother John Geisler.

Helen was a very vivacious, smart lady who loved life and embraced it to its fullest.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 15, 2022, 1:20pm at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Mount Vernon, followed by a graveside service, 3:00pm at Bayview Cemetery in Bayview, WA
