Obituary

Henry Charles Carsberg passed away peacefully on January 1, 2025, in Mount Vernon, Washington. Born on August 27, 1939, in San Francisco, California. After completing school and some college, he joined the Army in 1962, marking the beginning of his service to his country.
Henry had a role as a college assistant football coach for the Huskies and worked on the pit crew for catamaran races in San Diego, California. He was also known for arranging men's dinners for EBC donations. He published a book on food plant sanitation.
On January 20, 2024, Henry married Terry Henwood in Mount Vernon, Washington. He was a man of faith, actively participating in three Bible study groups and witnessing God's word. Henry loved sailing his boat, Eclipse, and cherished his dog, Quigley. He enjoyed music, particularly soft jazz, and was an avid guitar player. His hobbies included woodworking and making pens.
A memorial service will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church on February 22, 2025, at 1:00pm.
