Howard Bruce Newman passed away June 1, 2019 in Mount Vernon WA. He was born August 8, 1955 in Monroe, Washington. Howard Graduated from Mount Vernon High, class of 1973. Later he attended Skagit Valley College and graduated as a registered Nurse, class of 1988 and then worked at Virginia Mason. He married Susan Rhoades and gained a son Darris Rhoads. He eventually moved back to Mount Vernon to care for his mother. Howard enjoyed coin and stamp, collecting, jewelry making, fishing, music collecting, leathering working and enjoyed volunteering for Meals on Wheels. He is survived by his mother, Louise Newman; son, Darris Rhoads; sister, Carrie Bullinger (John and Delany) and many other Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. A Memorial reception will be held Friday June 7 ^th , 2019 from11am until 1pm at the Hawthorne reception Room. In Lieu of flowers Donations may be made in Howard's name to Hospice of the Northwest and Meals on Wheels.
